About

The Ohio Amish Library was founded in 1986 to collect and preserve Amish and other Anabaptist related material. The Ohio Amish Library was relocated to Behalt at the Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center in 2013. Our aim and intent is to make our material available for viewing and research to the community.

Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center (Behalt)

The Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center houses a 10 foot by 265 foot circular mural called Behalt. It illustrates the history of the Anabaptists, including Amish, Mennonites, and Hutterites. The library is also located within the Center.
